I got to Miami, for the first time, four days ago and so far has been a complete disappointment. After several incidences I decided to post this one. The main reason, because it wasn’t done to me, but to somebody else.
I came to Starbucks inside Barnes & Noble and the girl in the picture was siting next to me. I’m here with my laptop and my frappuccino. This girl is doing the same thing but with two chairs. The chair that’s not holding her ass is holding her cheap purse and a plastic bag. A lady, probably close to her 60’s, came over to her and politely asked her if she could use the chair holding the purse. The lady, with a Hispanic accent asked, “Are you using this chair. May I use it?” then this girl said, “No, don’t you see my purse is there?”
REALLY MIAMI???? REALLY???
COOOOME ON!!!! I cannot believe people are just not nice in here.
Another story: I went to a Cuban restaurant and I saw names in the menu like “Ropa Vieja” (old clothes) and I’m like “WOW what is that?” and the server makes a bad face at me. I sit, and the man next to me explains the lady that I’m new to the area and I’m NOT Cuban and that’s why I was asking what Ropa Vieja was. The woman then answered “I don’t care.”
WTF!!!
I really hope this get better.
